The Reunion Lunch this year was held at the Trent Bridge Cricket Ground on 24 October 2014. An excellent meal was enjoyed by 57 members of the Society.  The retiring President Norman Parr handed over to Tony Keyworth who will hold the post for the next two years.  Tony congratulated Norman on his term as President and thanked him on behalf of the Society. The Old Boy's Society was founded in 1894 and Tony had done a little research to find out what was happening in the School around that time.  The school achieved some notable success in the sporting field and was held in high regard in the City of Nottingham. In 1895 People's College Old Boys F.C. were advertising for fixtures  in the local newspaper and they were playing in the Sherwood Amateur League.  Further details of can be found in the "Articles of Interest" section under Some Events around the formation of PCOBS in 1894

Next year will be the fiftieth anniversary of the closing of the school and there was substantial support at the lunch for a summertime reunion at the old school.  The Committee are meeting in the New Year to develop this idea so watch this space.
